With its Roman ruins and medieval buildings, the Gothic Quarter is a place where you can enjoy the city’s 2000-year history. Among the many attractions, here are the Cathedral of Barcelona and the old Jewish quarter.
- LA RAMBLA STREET
This is the most popular pedestrian street in the city, dotted with pavilions and stalls for flowers, souvenirs, treats, bars and impressive living statues. Along with the many interesting buildings and museums on it, of great interest to tourists is the market “La Boqueria” known for its abundance, exotic products and beautifully arranged stalls.
- SAGRADA FAMILIA (only the exterior or with an entrance ticket)
During the tour of the basilica you will get acquainted with the history of the temple, the symbolism of the facades and sculptures, structural elements (columns, arches, apse, stained glass…), as well as their theological interpretation, which will allow you to understand how brilliant was Gaudi.
